Reverse InnovationWhen brainstorming innovation strategies, most people or organizations try to find a “solution” to problems! And, according to numerous futurists, unearthing solutions is a tried and true way to go.

However, according to Simon Hill, CEO and co-founder of Wazoku, “problem solving” is sometimes old fashioned! In fact, he says, “Trying to force yourself or your employees to magically come up with new ideas to a challenge can sometimes prove pretty fruitless.”

So, what’s a better answer? Reverse thinking. Instead of trying to solve the problem, try to find out what can cause more of the same problem!
