Rejuvenation, regeneration, yes, plain old relaxation is just what we need to be more productive according to Tony Schwartz, founder of The Energy Project, an organization whose goal is to offer companies a blueprint for fueling energy and an engaged workforce.
More, bigger, faster is the way most of us live, but Schwartz believes that the best way to get more done may be to spend more time doing less. And, he isn’t just talking! He puts this into practice, daily! Employees at The Energy Project have a dedicated space, the “renewal room,” where they can go and take a nap, meditate, and eat healthy snacks or simply just hangout.
Click here to read all about the “renewal room” and maybe find some good tips on boosting your productivity and energy whether at work or home. And if you think this would be beneficial at FSE, let us know – leave a comment or email us at IDEAWorks@nova.edu.
