So, you’re moving on to the convergent phase of the innovation process! You’ve got a lot of ideas, but are having trouble identifying which ones are the best! You need and want to know which ideas are going to take your team to the next level – but you’re just not sure how!
Well, in the article “How to Pick the Right Idea?” author Gijs van Wilfen provides a list of “things to do” to aid in picking that right idea! Two of the first items on the list include:
- Take your time. Allot enough time in the convergence process to select and improve ideas. Don’t expect to recognize good ideas in one to two hours.
- Have a clear vision of what you want. Everyone should have a shared vision at the start of the project and clear and concrete innovation assignments.
