Kick-Start Your Creativity

“Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun.”

~ Mary Lou Cook, Community Activist and Author

We all look for ways to “Be More Creative,” right?  But for most of us, it’s not something you can just decide to “do” like taking out the trash, watching a movie, or going to bed.

Sometime, it just doesn’t seem to strike your conscious with the “Aha!” you need.

There are ways to overcome that, however – and author/trainer/consultant Christine Kane offers up 21 of them in a neatly written blog, http://christinekane.com/21-ways-to-be-more-creative/.

Of course, 21 things to do sounds too much like a work list than a creative mind-opening opportunity; just look them over (each one is a quick read), pick just one to do each day (not the same one, of course), and see if – after 21 days – you’re not feeling much more creative than you were before.

And let us know if it works for you!  You can leave a comment here on Ideas At Work, the official blog of FSE’s IDEAWorks®.
